About the Game
A three-game HD bundle of CAPCOM's stylish action classics, with Traditional Chinese support, for players who enjoy fast, flashy combat.
Devil May Cry HD Collection is a single-player action game that bundles three entries from CAPCOM's Devil May Cry series into one purchase: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition. The genre is Action, and the store description leans heavily on the idea of Stylish Action, so combat sits at the center of the experience. Everything is presented in HD, which makes this a practical way to revisit three popular action games in one package.
The core loop is hunting demons as a Devil Hunter. The store description names Dante, Trish, Lady, and Lucia as the characters you fight alongside, and its stated goal is to become the strongest Devil Hunter. Combat is where the game puts its emphasis, and the store copy frames the HD presentation as a way to enjoy that stylish action at its best. Full controller support is listed, so a gamepad is a fully supported way to play it.
The setting is a world of demons, and the three games are presented as one collection rather than separate releases. Steam features such as achievements, trading cards, and Remote Play on TV round out the package, which suits players who want to play from the couch or track their progress. Taken together, it is a compact way to play these early Devil May Cry entries back to back.

Who It Is (and Is Not) For
Recommended For
This collection suits players who enjoy fast, stylish action and want three early Devil May Cry games in one package. It is also a good pick if you prefer playing with a controller or on a TV, given the listed controller and Remote Play support.
Not Recommended For
Players looking for multiplayer or co-op will find nothing in the listed features that points that way, since the game is single-player only. It is also a weaker fit if you want a brand-new game rather than HD versions of earlier entries in the series.
What the Steam Reviews Say
Steam rates Devil May Cry HD Collection Very Positive, which is 極度好評 on the Taiwan store, with 93% of its reviews positive. That score comes from tens of thousands of reviews, which is a strong signal for a collection of this kind.
Steam review labels are based on the share of positive reviews and the total number of them, so a high percentage backed by a large volume is more meaningful than the same percentage on a handful of reviews. Small review counts can swing sharply with a few opinions, but this game's volume is large enough that the label is a reasonably steady signal. Reviews still reflect personal taste, so reading a few recent ones can help you judge whether the combat style appeals to you.
