About the Game
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS bundles two high-speed action adventures, letting you play as Sonic and Shadow in one time-warped story.
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS is a single-player action game from Sonic Team, published by SEGA, that packages two fast-paced adventures into one purchase. The first half, titled 夏特 世代, is a brand-new game starring Shadow, the dark hero who has long been Sonic's rival. The second half, 索尼克 世代, brings Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic into the same world after a time distortion pulls them together.
The story begins with a mysterious monster called 時間侵蝕者, whose warping of time and space sets both halves in motion. In the Shadow half, Shadow becomes the target of a suspicious shadow linked to his origin as an Ultimate Life Form, and the former world-conqueror 黑暗末日 stirs again. Shadow explores 白色空間, a free-roaming 3D map where he can talk with characters, find hidden items and take on challenges. As he gains the power of Doom, more areas become open to him.
The Sonic half is built around speed. Stages move from bustling streets and nature-covered mountains to a toxic chemical plant and a temple floating in the sky, and the goal is to sprint through each one at top speed. Both characters play through these levels with the same emphasis on momentum that defines the series.
What stands out is how much the package adds. A Chao rescue feature lets you save the cute 巧歐 life forms scattered across various locations, and a ground dash move widens how you move through the stages. The collection also includes the popular downloadable content 賭場星夜彈珠台, which rounds out a bundle that suits players who want both sides of the story.

Who It Is (and Is Not) For
Recommended For
Fans of Sonic and Shadow who want both characters' stories in one package will get the most value from this bundle. It also suits players who enjoy speed-focused action and like the idea of exploring a hub in Shadow's half before racing through stages in Sonic's half.
Not Recommended For
Players who want multiplayer or co-op will want to look elsewhere, since the listed features are single-player only. Anyone who prefers slow, methodical play may find the emphasis on speed less to their taste.
What the Steam Reviews Say
Steam labels SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS as 壓倒性好評 (Overwhelmingly Positive), with 97% of its reviews positive across tens of thousands of reviews. That is the top tier on Steam's review scale and points to strong, broad agreement among players.
Steam builds these labels from the share of positive reviews and the total number of reviews, so a rating this high backed by a large sample is a dependable signal. Keep in mind it reflects overall player sentiment rather than whether a particular feature or price suits you.
